Today SQUARE-ENIX released information regarding a welcome back campaign for former players of the first version for FFXIV, all you have to do if you’re one (I am and will post later exactly all the steps) is go to the FFXIV Official Site and download the Beta Client.

On this Friday June 14th the Lodestone will be available to these players so they can determine the world their old characters has been transferred to, as well as check old linkshells and Friends.

By the time the official start of the service in August kicks in another welcome back campaign will be held for old players who want to come back again.
